Deputy i love my 300 win mag although at times when there are buffalo about i have felt a little under gunned. As a rule i dont shoot buffalo as i wouldnt like to see all that meat go to waste. I stick to pigs, cats, dingos and horses.

Hmmm........what happens to the pig and horse meat??

Hmmm........what happens to the pig and horse meat??

The pigs eat the pig and horse carcasses. There are a few people about who will eat some of the pigs but it is to gamey in flavour for me. The horses are in mobs of 20 or more and do alot of damage to the environment. Yes the buff probably do more damage but there are lots of people who will take the buff for eating so i think i should leave the buff to them so it doesnt go to waste. Some stations have mobs of donkeys as well but they are more nurmerous over towards the west.
