First Hog Hunt

[1100 Remington Man]

I did not know what to use for a rifle so I used a 300 H & H. I reload so I went with a 180gr Nosler Partition loaded to about 3000 FPS. I made a shot on a walking Hog at about 40 yds & was DRT I was surprised to see it did not go through just a small entry hole.

RemMan---looks like green foliage so when and where? My son and I are researching such a hunt
