I have a Sako M75 in 7mm RUM that I am going to customize for an upcoming dahl sheep hunt. This may be crazy, but I am going to try to trim as much weight as possible. Thinking of a McMillan stock, fluting the bolt, etc.. My question is what type of barrel to go with (carbon wrapped, 24 inch fluted,…)? I will be putting a titanium muzzle brake on as well. My goal is to get the weight of the rifle and scope down to around 7 lbs. Ant thoughts would be appreciated.
