Confused!

I don't remember who originally coined the phrase, but a wise man once said "caliber is everything and nothing..."

It's everything if you JUST HAVE TO HAVE that latest and greatest chambering. But when it comes to animals....dead is dead.

So yeah......keep that puppy. And I agree with the member who said if it doesn't shoot well enough, have it rechambered in something 7mm so you can keep the same barrel.

The scope is a temporary to assess the accuracy potential
 
If it shoots, its a keeper.

If it shoots, before or after improving the bedding your next decision will be light fast low bc projectiles or heavier slower ones.:)

Either way it looks like you have a great start.
