I have read that, ideally, the best head position for shooting allows you to look straight forward out of your eye socket - ie, you pupil is centered in your head - for reduced strain and better clarity. I've also read that you need to have a firm cheek weld and a low mounted scope. It seems like these two things are in opposition. Or am I just not doing it right? Can someone post a picture of a correct prone shooting head position on a properly fitting "hunting type" rifle?
