I will turn it on and let it warm up for a few hours, calibrate it with the weights it came with and then press zero. It will stay on zero then start going from zero to .2 to .3 all the way up to .8 then settle back down and jump around for a little then zero and never stay at zero. No phones or tvs nearby. Always worked in the I'm in. I tried a bounce sheet allover it. Made sure nothing is binding under the scale plate. Didn't work. I'm hoping this unit hasn't gone bad.
