Caldwell DeadShot FieldPod Review

I have one and have used it for over a year while not as stable as a bench as others have stated it is good enough for yotes out to 600.

I have shot woodchucks, prairie dogs, deer, and coyotes with my Fieldpod. When I first bought it there was a slight "wobble" on the top where the weapon is mounted. I went to the Caldwell web site and found that a slight tightening of a nut underneath would correct the problem. Problem solved! Not a great bench rest, but a handy field item for rifles or crossbows. I use it in my pop up blind for my crossbow and its always ready and handy.
