Really, 1:14 is actually the old standard for an M16. The cartridge was actually built around that twist rate.Nmmmm... 1:12 is REALLY slow for .223.

Actually, for this rifle, I won't have a budget. I don't know why Browning did away with that SSA action, I mean it's a half an inch, but it handles nice easy to carry and great for kiddos.You might contact Douglas Premium Barrels to ask if they will re-barrel a Browning , and also check their prices , to have a price to compare with Oregunsmithing .
Always good to have more options , depending upon your budget .
