Just to throw another option out there.... I have a couple Meopta scopes as well as some binos and I will say for the money I have been blown away with the glass. Their scopes are not on par with vortex, nf, etc when it comes to "long range features" but their quality and glass is why I purchased them. The 4-16x44 on my 300RUM is the one I have spent the most time with while hunting and the glass is superior to other scopes I have owned. For a do all hunting scope they would be tough to beat.
