Best Scopes ~$400.00

I was wanting to get a long range shooting scope that can reach out to 1000 yards.
The only things that are necessary for me really are...

1/4 MOA Target Styled Turrets
At least 9 or 10x magnification

Other than that, it's not really a big deal to me.

Suggest the best for me!

Planing to get the Nikon Monarch 4-16X50mm SF real soon. They can be found online right around $400 and come with quazi-target turrets that can be easily upgraded from Nikon or Kenton Ind. BDC turrets.

Check out the Bushnell Elite 3200 10x Tactical. You can find them new on ebay for <$200. They are decent glass with fat turrets and adjustments that are fast, reliable and repeatable. Had one on my 308...

For this price I think this is a good way to go

Might want to consider the Japanese made Weaver 3-15x42 Side focus Super Slam scope. Optics are very good and has pull up target type turrets. Can be found for around $330 at Natchez

I will through out there the Clearidge Ultra XP5 2.5-12.5x42. A great scope and you would have a hard time finding one any better with the features they offer for the price.

Save a little more for a Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x PST. Great value for the dollar. Buy once, cry once
