Bedding H&S Precision Stock

Just ordered a new H&S Precision stock for my Rem 700

Should the action be bedded?

It is a good idea. If you do a search, there should be several good threads here. It is generaly called "skim bedding" as the bedding material jus fills in the non-contact points on the aluminum bedding block. When I did mine, I did grind back some aluminum to totally bed the recoil lug in epoxy.
