beach wood stock can it be stain

I have a Anschutz biathlon with a beach wood stock the color is like maple..... wondering if there is a way to stain this stock to a darker color thanks Mike

Mike,

I see no reason why this stock will not take a stain like other wood.
Just sand the current finish off of it, and apply the stain of your choice.
Make sure you apply a final finish to seal the wood back up.
