Barred Owl

    I was out hunting the other day and came across a barred owl and took some pics. Thought you guys would like to see some wild life pics of MI It is a larg file it may take a little bit to load

    Well, I am proud of you. I was fixing to be really mad if you had shot an owl and was bragging about it. But, instead I will congratulate you on some great shooting there.

    I was shooting a Canon 1d Mark II, with a Canon 500mm lense.

    Beautiful picture & excellent photography! Owls are generally elusive subjects, and they are defiantly the epitome of stealthy predators.

    They are elusive, for sure. There's two great horned owls that hung out all season near my deer stand hoo-hooing and making a fuss and I never once actually saw them.
