I was about to start working up loads for my 338 RUM and have on hand Retumbo, H1000, RL22 and H4831SC. The data in quickload looks very promising for the H4831SC. Anyone else using this and if so what a kind of results have you gotten? Anyone have any good stuff for the other powders. BTW I will be loading a 250 Barnes TSX FB over this powder for an upcoming South African plains game safari in May. Thanks for any assistance any of you may offer!

Hello,

I used H1000 and never tried anything else since it shot so well.

I use it and like the way it measures. Also it burnes cleaner than H 1000 in my rifle.

My load is @ 100% case density and the SD's are all under 12 ft/sec.

I use 225gr and 250gr Accubonds and it works well these bullets.

Max range for Elk is 1200yrds with 1500 ft/lbs energy at POI.

Good powder

In my 338 RUM, 98.6 grs Retumbo and a 250 gr is 3024 fps from a factory 26" barrel.
