Anyone get ejector swipe on brass without firing it?

I am curious if anyone has expirienced this?

I have seen it on multiple rifles and different brass types. New unfired cases. Norma has been most pronounced but have seen it on Winchester cases as well. It is not deep swipe but it is there (makes using that as one of the references for pressure un-usable).

Could it be I am not bumping the shoulder back enough? Even in new unfired cases.

Rifles are Rem 5R 300WM. Ruger 300WM. Rem 30-06.

Thanks
Shane

I bet that the body or/and shoulders aren't getting sized enough.

I wouldn't worry about it unless its hard to work the bolt.

No bolt lift is fine when fired. Charges are max for the particlar rifles, but pressures aren't producing more swipe, no ejector rings marks, no excessive flat primers, etc.

Just swipe prior to firing.

Using Lee press with RCBS dies.

I had that on one of my rifles, just remove the ejector and round it off with a grinder then polish it out should be fine then. it is most likely a sharp cut!

I can see it on Norma brass, that stuff shows ejector marks on start loads. It's still my brass of choice though..
