Any experience with the Nosler 250 grain spitzers?

I just bought some to try in my 338 RUM. I like the 225 gr Accubonds but wanted to try a 250 gr. for accuracy.

I shoot a M700 LSS in 338 RUM. Scope is a Leupold VXIII 2.5x8.
With the 250 gr PT, I load 90.0 grs RL25, R-P case, and Fed GM215M primers. Best 3 shot group is .490".

The 250 grain partition shoots every bit as good as any other bullet I've tried in my 340 wby. It ALWAYS leaves a big hole in anything it passes through.

What kind of velocity are you getting w/the 250gr bullet?

Roy,

I do not have a chronograph yet. My guess is 2900 fps.
I plan on getting a Oehler 35 by next spring.
