Alberta wolf with the 6.5 PRC

I killed this wolf a few weeks ago in northern Alberta with my dna rifle chambered in 6.5 prc.

Awesome. Still on my bucket list. Went once to Albert for a wolf, but went with a "guide" who was a liar and thief, and I was later contacted by Albert Fish and Game and NC Wildlife to help them with their case on him. Found out after my return home that all the areas he took me to hunt were not legal for my tags. He was one of those guys to stay away from. If you hear the name chris david go the other way.

147 eldm, 253 yards, pinned both shoulders, she spun on the ground for a few seconds and the bullet did exit.

I don't know your size. That wolf looks like a giant to me. Did you happen to weight her.

Tell me what a Deer ,Caribou,Moose,Bison,Elk, can do to get away from these Killing Titans, nothing really,just like the Plains Game of Africa pulled down and Eaten Alive . Sad that this injustice happens on modern man's watch, because the Wrong people are in charge.

Females are usually 60-85 # largest one on Rocky Mountain front in northern Montana, my friend caught in trap, 104# she was a monster female…… most wolves loose weight when they are put on a scale! I had another friend that has since left this world, he trapped a 120# male he was a tank, you would guess it was 150# or larger, but they are very narrow built and all legs and fur! Any wolf is a neat trophy!!!

A great friend told me they'll top out at 185 lbs,in Manitoba,makes sense when you think of all the meat they eat 24/7/365 days a year.

My Friend lived there for 3/4 of his life was in the wilderness 350 days of the year,was a commercial fisherman/ whitail deer guide / bear guide for years many many years . I for one trust him ,and he's no liar . Believe what you want .
