I am going to buy a stevens .223 for a cheap coyote and gopher gun and don't want to spend alot on a fancy scope since i just want a simple dependable setup. In the <$150 price range I am considering the:
1) Pentax Gameseeker 4-16x50 (no AO)
2)Millet Buck Gold 4-16x44
3) Bushnell banner 4-16x40 ($100)
Which would you say is the best scope? Any other suggestions in this price range?

Pentex got my vote! This 4-12-40 is a great scope for the $$$ The reticle is a handy feature.

take a look at the Leapers Accushot scopes. I have a couple and for a cheaper scope they are pretty good. Check out the 6-24 30mm unit in Midway or Cheaper than Dirt. Under $200 and pretty clear.
