7mm08 loads for hunting& accuracy

I added the distance between the center of all 3 and divided it by 3.

From what I've read here in the past, there are quite a few ways to measure groups. Whether it's a 0.16" or 0.284", I still love those cloverleafs, as long as they hold at longer ranges.
you can do it that way, but when there is paper missing, you can only eyeball center. It is much more accurate to measure the widest outside points, then measure a hole in the paper, and subtract the two from each other. No doubt, still a very nice group from a hunting rifle. If you remeasure, I think you'll find your group is in the .3's.
On that particular target, the holes on the paper measured .265. The widest point was .530. So, .530-.265=.265. If I used .284 it would be .530-.284=.246. That would be under a 1/4" by a little bit.
