I have a new 7 RUM and would like some loads to start with.
There isn,t a lot of information out there,

Hodgdon powder has data online. Hornady has data. reloaders nest.com has data too. stevespages.com too. Retumbo, RL25, Accurate 8700, IMR7828 are all powders that can work in the 7 rum. WC872 and US869 are too. I use a max (my max for my rifle) load of 95.0 gr RL25, fed 215,150 gr partition OAL max for magazine length. Rem 700 LSS factory rifle. 3450 fps and good hunting accuracy. Each gun is different and behave differently. Very important to start low and work up your loads for your rifle.

My 7mmrum sendero liked 94.5 RL25 with 150 sciroccos. Great huntin load. Will shoot one ragged hole at 100yds.

My Rem. 700 likes 95.5gr Retumbo behind a 140 CT Ballistic Tip. Shoots between .5 and .75" at 100.

My 700 LSS likes many different loads so I use 160 grain Accubonds with 93.5 grains RL25. One ragged hole. I just like the Accubonds.
