7mm RemMag, 26" barrel 1-8tw. Throat has been extended for more freebore to load long heavies.

3.5" COAL. Slight crimp with LFCD
3071 FPS

Loaded up 1 round per 1gr charge weight until pressure.
65gr 3029-cold clean
66gr 3029

68gr 3117 slight click and light ejector print
69gr 3173 good click and good ejector print (I wish, can man this would be a smoker).

Typical Hammer accuracy of better than 1/2".

130 Speer BTSP at 3000 or less work exceptionally well on whitetail, Sierra Gameking 150-165 also work really well. Hornady 139 SST is another lightning load at 3000 or less. 162 SST and ELDX and A-Max are fantastic, push them hard if you want as there is plenty of weight to get deep enough on deer. It really doesn't take a fancy bullet to kill deer. CoreLokt and PowerPoints in factory ammo are also very good, 140 and up.
 
Going to attempt to put a 177gr Hammer through whitetail from a 7 remmag at about 3070 FPS...is is too much...yupp...and nope... 🤣
I used the prototype of that bullet on a big canadian whitetail many years ago loaded to +3500 fps in my 7mm Allen Magnum. Dropped him stone dead on impact through both shoulders. Bullet performed perfectly. That was a rather heavy bodied northern whitetail also!!
