I'm looking at building a 7mm-08 on a Rem 700 Long action. Does anyone know if there will be any feeding issues with this? I would like to keep the standard BDL configuration.

Thanks in advance.

I doubt it...regarding feeding issues, but have never done it.

I just did COL measurements on all the bullets I could try in my 7mm-08, between the bullets that I and my shooting buddy have on hand.

The longest where the 140 and 150 Nosler BTs and the Sierra 168 HPBT match was close to as long as those. The longest of these 3 was 2.9 inches in my rifle. I doubt you'll ever use the extra .5" that the long action will give you even if you were to try the longest 180 grain bullets.

Let us know how the project goes.
