lookin for load data for rell 22,25, 7828,1000, anything but 4831,,, 130-140 gr bullets

i have lots of powder but no 4831,,,,would like to get this new rifle i had rebarreled to shoot powder i allready own,,,,

My oal was 3.133" so you may have to adjust. With 130s 53grns Imr 4350 or RE17, 54.5grns RE19, 55grns VV N160 for the 140s use 2grns less of these powders. Honestly 7828, H1000, are retumbo are a little on the slow side, but all around H4831SC works the best so you may wanna just get some.

Slow side on burn rate? Velocity wise I have seen H1000 and Retumbo shoot faster than 4350 or 4831. Not sure what you are running for velocity with the 140's but 3020-3050 is not out of the norm with RET and H1000 out of a 26" tube.

Well as I mentioned in a previous post I was running 3020fps with a 4fps ES with 48.7grns Imr 4350, norma cases, CCI BR2s, and an average around 35lbs neck tension and jammed .005" in the lands on a 139 lapua scenar. I have hit 3176 with 51.5grns Imr 4350 but it started vertical so I backed it off for accuracy, went from 8" groups to 5" groups, so I guess the question is why use about 10 grns more powder to do the same thing?

300- the powders i have used are : H-4350, mrp-2 , mrp and h-4831sc. i shoot 123 and 139 scenars. my best loads with very limited testing are with mrp-2 and H-4350.

i have read the cartridge guide a few times,,,i have loaded some h4831,,, my loads are couple grains over what everyone else uses and a little slower, 24in barrel, 140 bergers around 2885 and about 1in groups are best,,,,, waiting for some less widy and rainy days for some more testing,,,,,

rel 17 51.5 gr and a 140 berger is the current front runner, .5moa, still need to chronograph,,,

7828 ,2975 fps 1in groups,

rel 22, 3009, 1 in groups

4831, 2870 fps, 1 in groups

very little testing for seating length, 10 thousands off the lands,,,right know,,,

Backwoods, Are you really not seeing major pressure with 53 grains of RL17? I will blow every other primer at 52.5 and absolutely wreck my brass if I don't blow the primer. Max safe load for me is 52. But I am at 3205 fps with 52 grains with ES at 1fps, and I can't complain about that/

49.7 grains with Lapua brass, 50.2 with Hornady brass of H4831SC gets me 1/2 inch groups at 200 yards. ES of around 10 velocity with a 26 inch barrel is about 2850 and 2790 with a 23.5 inch barrel. The short barrel didn't take kindly to the RL17 but it likes Hybrid 100V where the 26 inch savage doesn't. In the shorter barrel I am using 49.5 grains of Hybrid 100v with a 140 VLD and getting 1/2 inch groups at 100 and 3/4-1 inch groups at 200. All of these loads are developed with Fed 215 primers. My OAL for both rifles is 3.195 for the 130 VLD and 3.223 with the 140 VLD. Best RL17 load with the 140 is 50.8 grains. N160 seems to show some promise for accuracy but not velocity and without looking I cannot tell you what the best load with it is. I didn't do much work with it due to the fact it is not readily available around here.

That data was with 139 lapuas more toward the tangent ogive than secant, my oal with 140 bergers is 3.248" so mine has a slightly longer throat, and if I were you I'd back the neck tension off a little and toss those 215Ms for 210Ms or BR2s plus running them up that fast hinders accuracy.
