Great choice...I love 7mm-08. I have a Fierce Firearm's custom CT Carbon Edge with 22"bbl--A tack driver and I get 2844 FPS using Barnes 145 gr. LRX, 46 gr RL-17, CCI BR-2 Primer and Lapua Brass. I did a 475 yd DRT one shot kill off the sticks in Colorado (Dove Creek Area) this year (go me!. Wife uses same load in her WBY Camilla in 7mm-08 and hammered plains game in Africa last May/Jun. Kids grew ups shooting a little Browning A-Bolt Micro Medallion and have combined about 70 kills using that little rig--All one shot DRT. So yeah, we like 'em.
