JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU GUYS THAT I TRIED OUT THE BERGER VLD ON A DOE ANTELOPE IN WYOMING THIS WEEKEND. I WAS SHOOTING MY CUSTOM 6.5-.284 WHICH PUSHES THESE BULLETS AT 3100 FPS. I HIT THE DOE JUST A LITTLE UP FROM THE BRISKET AND IT EXPLODED LIKE A BOMB AS IT WENT THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF HER RIBCAGE. THE ONLY THINGS THAT DIDN'T GET BLOWN OUT WERE THE HEART AND LUNGS! MY LEICA 1200 LRF SAID SHE WAS 1030 YARDS OUT. NOT BAD FOR A "PAPER BULLET". INCIDENTALLY, THIS IS THE GUN/LOAD COMBO THAT GOT ME IN THE VHA 1500 YARD CLUB THIS SUMMER ON A ROCKCHUCK. I FIGURED IF IT WAS ACCURATE ENOUGH FOR A CHUCK, IT SHOULD BE ACCURATE ENOUGH FOR A GOAT!
