Looking for a fun scope to put on a 50.

Requirements:

Eye relief enough to keep my face safe.

Fixed power ok as long as I can dial out paralex.

Target knobs

30mm tube with 80+ moa adustments.

Oh and be nice if it can hold up to a 50.

$300-700ish

I like my 3200 10x bushnell but, it is on my 308, has 1" tube and I already have one....thinking about a swfa 20x-42??? Unless someone gives me a better Idea.
Thanks

I would recommend a SS for a budget build. I've had one for several years.
I wouldn't recommend the 16x or 20x for hunting, just shooting in good light situations. I would opt for the 10x for that purpose. I have the 16 and thinking of selling it and getting a 10x.

Can't hunt with a fifty here (has to be under 16lbs) so this will be just for fun.

16 or 20x is fine. Why are the 10x swfa's $100 more? Side focus ?

There are two diferent 10x models. The side parallax is $100 more then the ones with rear adjustment.

Millett lrs-1

35mm tube
56mm obj
40 mm diopter
6-25x
140 moa adjustment
mil dot/bar ret.
moa or mill turrets
side parallax to 800 yrds
lit ret.
500$
gun)

Just got a 16x42 SS . Very impressed with it. Built like a tank, turrets feel solid, eye relief good and I get a little over 7 turns of elevation 15x7=105moa.

Let's see how it holds up to the 50.....:D

If it does....what a great buy @299

I agree with you Bravo4 about hunting with it...not going to be easy to pick up those close targets but, it should do great for LR.
