SOLD/EXPIRED 50 Cal Barrett model 99

I put it up for sale on the forum so I could give a chance for one of the forum members to buy it first and enjoy it.
I did not want to put it on gunbroker so some could buy it just to flip it. I will if nothing happeneds here though.

Thanks guys I like they Idea of raffling it off but unfortunately that brings up all kinds of leagal ramifications, first the raffle in itself then throw a 50 cal rifle into the mix, I can't even begin to imagine the poop storm that would cause.

This reminds me of when my dad sold one of his tractors to pay medical bills of his friend who got electrocuted by a power line and insurance wouldn't cover most it of it. Props to you sir for doing this and thank you for bringing up that memory of my father for me.

What is the barrel length? Does the price include shipping?

I could not measure the barrel because of the way the rifle is made, the barrel goes into what looks like a shroud. They call it a "one piece aluminum extrusion coatings rail"
According to Barrett the model 99 has a 32 Inch barrel. And a 27MOA Rail.

I see gun raffles in my area all the time, not sure how being a .50 would muddy the waters (still not a DD) but if you could find some way to swing it I think the tickets would be sold in a heartbeat.

maybe take a survey on hear to see how many would be interested in a 100 dollar ticket for a raffle to see if it would be worth it
i would throw in 100 for the first ticket
ask the boss len maybe he has some ideas
how do you start a go fund me

I would not do a go fund me page that would end our friendship, so that is not going to happen. heck he does not know this is going on which I feel a bit guilty of.

I'd get a ticket and have some family that would be in too.
If you "sell" something, let's say keychain for 100. Then a rifle is a gift. Don't see any harm in that
