I hope things are going well know, I'm also in the same boat, I was injured very Badly when I was in Afghanistan and I can no longer lay prone for that long, I do shoot off of a very steady portable home made bench and I've been out at 2080 yards with it so it's doable on a bench. I also use a bald Eagle front rest and a rear bag. The rest is not the best " most expensive" but dose work well for me.I'm still thinking about it ..I have 33 mil to work with right now . I'm not sure I'm up to further yet anyway ! I cant spent to much time prone yet . Still healing from Heart Surgery.
