up for sale is a remington lss 338 ultra mag.it has a stainless steel barrel with i believe to be a gentry quiet muzzle brake.it has about 100 rounds down the barrel.here is a link to the previous post.i had plans to build it to a 338 edge but that has changed.the scope,rings,bipods and bases are not ncluded but i will throw in some brass and 65 210 grain barnes xlc bullets.i am asking $900.thanks,marty

How "substantial" is the recoil? Is that a 26" barrel? Are the rings 30MM?

recoil is more than what some people are use to.it is managable with the brake.i had no problem with it.and the barrel is 26 inches,28 with the brake.but the rifle is on hold with another offer.i'll keep you posted if it dosn't work out.also,i'm in virginia and payment is postal money order only.thanks,marty

sorry but the rifle is now sold pending funds.but i am in charlottesville and i did use it for deer.they never took a step.
