Try doing a search for the 338 edge. It is the same cartridge as you are looking for

Ask Shawn Carlock about this round. To me it was worth it,can push a 200gr bullet 3500+ fps with sub sub min accuracy! The 250gr are going 3100+ and the 300SMK 3000fps
all very accurate what will your .338RUM do?(my tube 30" with free bore)

my 338 rum is running 300 smks at around 2700 fps and thats pushing it hard! that is with the 26 " tube. I got the gun to make in to a project 338 when i burn up the factory tube and was looking at the move to this chambering. I like the Idea that my redding dies can still be used and the 3000 fps with the 300 smk is nice too! the 300 rum brass is cheaper than the 338 - 378 wtby too!

There are several people on this forum that shoot this round
and I think they will atest to the performance of the round.
