338 Lapua Imp. 40 degree Loads

We've got some VV Powders at my local gun store deputy 819 met me halfway from Frankfurt Kentucky it was over a 3 Hour Dr. for each of us I don't know how far you are from Cypress Inn Tennessee

I'd wait it out and find some and shoot some 250-285gr bullets. You can always trade your powder for 570 if you have some desirable powder to trade... what twist is your barrel? 9.3 or 10 or? 300's are a little excessive under 1k. I'm starting to like shooting bullets 3050-3250 cause they seem to kill better and are still normally accurate.

I guess the first step would be to see if we even have any 570 I've been taking screenshots of other people and look for specific bullets so when I get there I'll be shopping for several people if they are interested

Its a 28" 9.4 proof. Looks like I'm only 3.5hr from cypress inn TN. I'm in far west KY
Pretty busy working on my house at the moment but I've been trying to get to my local gun store and see what they have left as far as inventory

I've got 500 of the Lapua 250 scenar and about 300 of the 285s. So I'll definitely be giving it a try and I'm sure I can find some berger 250 in stock. I have never had any luck with the 250s in a 9.3 twist though. Never know. Might work in this one.

If I was starting over, I'd shoot these over N570 or for less $$$ I'd shoot the 285 ELD-M over N570. 250's at around 3150 I'd bet and 285's around 3050. Both would hammer critters...
