Built on a trued 700 action, Hart 1x13 24" barrel, Semi tight barrel (Lapua brass has to be turned but Winchester does not) Tuned Remington trigger, McMillan A3 stock, blind magazine. Shoots 168 SMKs into bug holes at 200 yards. Harris bipod, cleaning rod, in a fitted Pelican case. $1,400 plus shipping and insurance.

Who did the smith work?

The gunsmith was a Houston area smith that built these for swat personnel back In the 90's. I do not remember his name. I was told that he only built these for law enforcement people. This one was built for an officer that got cancer and died before being able to shoot it. I never spoke to the gunsmith.

The weight is around 12#. It has less than 100 rounds down the barrel.
