I'm looking for load data using the 200 grain accubond in a 300 ultra mag. Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!

Mine shot 95gr Retumbo, CCI 250, 200gr NAB at 3280 out of a 27" Lilja. This is a fairly stiff load in a custom rifle.

Shortmag3, what powders do you have available to you? I know lots of guys are using worked up loads with Retumbo, RL-25, and H-1000. Those seem to be the most popular with Retumbo getting most mention. I have used H-1000 worked up to Noslers max and it topped out at 3050-3060. I've heard, and Nosler printed that Retumbo will go to something like 3187 but have also heard that the ES and SD open up and are not near as good as they are with H-1000.

    I have H1000 and RL25

What is a good starting point with the 1000?

    Thanks

Noslers manual shows a starting load of 88.0 and a max load of 92.0 for H-1000.

I also used 95grs of Retumbo behind Nosler Accubond producing 3200 FPS out of a 26" bbl .It still took 3 shots in the boiler room of a CA Black bear to put him down. Its all about shot placement.
