Well, went to a mile today - didn't work out like I would have wanted, but I learned alot. As it was said before, practice! The target was on a hillside with snow and mud so seeing the impact was difficult to say the least. My 3 spotters were having a hell of a time! After about 10 shots I called it quits due to the wind was starting to gust in several directions.
I switched to the 230 gr Berger Hybrid. Over 87 gr of H1000 it shot an avergae of 3066fps. Acurracy is on par with my 210's at under a 1/4" MOA. At 1k my 210 MOA correction is 17.5 - the 230's came in at 18! This really suprised me. They also buck the wind ALOT better at 1k than the 210.
Overall it was a great day of shooting. With a little more practice maybe I'll get there!
