Any ideas on where to start with a 30 Nosler and 200 grain Hornady ELD-X? I have Retumbo, H1000, H4350 and H4831SC that I think would work well. Planning on seating them at the recommended 3.340" length just due to the limited mag space in my Tikka. Any help would be appreciated.

I ran your data in QL. I would recommend dropping back 10% from max load and work up. Hopefully, someone will chime in with more than computer simulated data.

Thank you for running this in QL. Super nice of you

If you would be so kind, could you run that again with Retumbo?

I've been working up some loads to test with IMR 7828. I think I've got tested data for the 200 grain ELD-X using H1000 at the office. I will look tomorrow and post it here if I do. Really loving my 30 Nosler and was just going to shoot store bought for a while but I like shooting it too much to pay $6.00 a trigger squeeze.
@just_jon is it a big pain to run numbers in QL? I hadn't found data for the 30 Nosler with the 200 gr ELD-X with IMR 7828. I'm planning to start at 65.0 grains and go up 1.0 grain at a time until I start losing accuracy and/or see signs of excessive pressure.

H1000 is usually the go to powder for my 30 Nosler. The 212 eld x did well but 215 Berger's are hard to beat. I tried most of the powders recommended in the Nosler book. Found retumbo and h1000 most favorable.
