Finally got around to working up a load for my Rem. 700 270 wsm. The gun started life as a factory 700 CDL SF. I dropped it into a B&C Alaskan II, bedded the action, had a sako extractor installed, put in a Timney 512 and started load work up. Now I was going to order a new Brux barrel but as you can see from the picture I am one of the lucky ones to come across a factory barrel that shoots lights out. Topped with a Vortex Viper HS-T 4-16x44 in Talley rings she comes in at 9.5 lbs. Started load work up for 140 gr Berger VLD. Got her fine tuned and this was what I got. Ready for deer season now. Just need to locate a huge NW Kansas mulie.
