264 Mag

264 WM are notorious for giving a 600 round barrel life.

H1000 Changes the above equation, consult a Heat Index Chart for powders. N160 and N165 are also very cool burning powders.
I have Never had less than 8-900 rounds.
And just starting to lose accuracy.
What count did you get to? .🤔

Exactly, I have never talked to anyone that didn't get at least 1000 rounds.. The 7R.M. club started that rumor years ago.
To push the popularity of the 7mmRM.
There are far more cartridges out today that burn barrels faster. The 6mm Creed.
is a barrel burner.
I just get worked up when people say that the 264 is a barrel burner.
There I Fill Better. Have a great day. 😁

my last Winchester shot a 129g Hornady Flat base Interlock with 61g of IMR 4831, Rem brass, Rem 9 1/2. I have no idea of the speed, but the killing ability of this load proved to be incredible. The bore got to where it looked like a pitted sewer pipe, but still shot this load great, but I had to de copper the barrel every 12 shots to keep accuracy.

6.5 PRC has the same case capacity of the 264 Win Mag if you are into the latest and greatest kind of thing.

H1000 is a game changer in barrel/throat life of the 264 Win mag, those with ears, let them hear!
