I just saw that Eabco has Remington 700 match barrels for the 243 with a 1/8 for sale at $299. Wouldn't this be a better option than a 6mm Creedmoor since the 243 is generally faster?

I would view it as being close enough to not argue over. If you reload you can take advantage of the 1-8" twist.

I have a 26 inch and 2 inch brake rem 700 SPS Varminter 9 1/8th twist. If your are into ultimate long shooting 115's

243 win cases used to be cheap and plentiful. I shoot a lot so I've always used the 100's and 105'ss

8 twist is great if the barrel is also longer

That would go home with me. 115s have been hard to get to shoot (for me) I like 95s and 105s. Biggest surprise in my reloading has been the 95gr berger classic bullet. Shoots awesome, kills even better, and easy to find a load that shoots.
