1 in 12 twist

how big a bullet can i run in a 308 win with a 1 in 12 twist 26" long. would like to go with the 175 smk or the 210 berger. any idea about speed i might get also thanks guys

You should be able to run the 175 (forget the 210) inbetween 2600-2700 depending on which case, powder combo you use.

The 175 is no problem and some shoot the 190 SMK with
reloader powders the 1-12 with 26" may help depends on other
things. one of my 308 shoots 175 at 2650 24" barrel and the 26" barrel
gets 2655 same load Have 2 300 wins difference there of over 100 fps
and one inch difference in length. difference whos to know...
