    Hi there, I am interested to hear more about your experience with the Witt sme! I live in Canada so silencers are totally illegal, but these shrouded brakes/linear comps are fine. My question is how much recoil/muzzle flip do they cut out compared to a bare muzzle? If you experience with other brands that is great too, options are always good!

    Well it has a fairly big break stuffed inside of that housing. I know on my little 6.5 it cuts it down a lot, could be just the muffling of the blast? I'd say it depends if you want spend $150 or so loonies to see if you want to keep the 300WM? I shoot my buddies 300 that has a big break confortabily and I'm a tiny little guy. My GF's '06 kicks way worse than his 300.

    I'm saving up for a Fierce in either 300WM or 300PRC and will definatly be sticking Witts SME on it if that helps.

    That's great info! thanks for sharing it does help quite a bit! I may still go to a smaller gun but it sounds like the Witt see is something I want to try out anyway
