After using the ballistic calculator I now can figure out how many clicks I need to adjust my turret for different ranges. Now, at full magnification how can I fugure out at what distances my mil dots themselves are zeroed at? There may be times that I don"t have time to adjust my turret and...
This web site had a great and very simple program for figuring out scope click adjustments at different ranges that could be printed out. My scope has 1/8th inch incriments at 100 yards. The site seems to no longer be up. Does anyone have this calculator program that they could share? Thanks
I must be missing something. I have a Sightron SII With 4 marks between 0,1,2 etc.on the turret knob. Next is my Bushnell 4200 Elite and it has 8 marks between numbers. I just got a new Savage varment Max1 so I willed my Rem 788 in 22-250 to my wife and picked up a Simmons 44 Mag with 10 marks...
Does anyone know where I can download a program where you give bullet wt, speed etc and it tells you how many clicks for elevation at different distances? Thanks
I agree with Mike, With a bore site grid you can just dial away and see when your reticle stops moving. All my scope reticles stop moving before I run out of clicks.

I have fought with this for years and with all of you experts out there maybe I won't have to any longer. I have RCBS dies. Adjusted as rcbs says. I have several other cal. that I have never had this problem. If I run my brass into the depriming die just far enough for the expander ball to go...
thanks so much guys. I didn't even know it was called a hangfire. I think I will increase my load a little at a time and see if I can get it to go away and then go from there. Thanks
