I was wondering if any of you guys shoot a 17 Remington. I would like to know its maximum. Range.also the damage it leaves on fur. Would this be good for Bobcats coyotes as far as fur damage

My dad has a new 22-250 we have taken it out a couple of times now. The first time he went bought55gr remington soft points didn't group though it was the ammunition. The next time we used 43gr speertnt. Started are 25 yards first shot keyhole thought maybe tore paper fired another same thing...

I bought a savage 110 today chambered for270 it was a pretty good deal $332 brand new at Walmart supposedly one cent over cost my question is want to convert it to a 300 win I know i need a bolt head and barrel but what about the magazine box any information is appreciated
