For a factory load don't forget the Federal Fusion 95 grain.

I've owned 8 Kimber centerfire rifles (2 7WSM's, 223AI, 243AI, 2 257 Roberts, 7mm08 and a 270) and none of them needed major work to feed, function and shoot accurately. Now have a 6.5 Creedmoor Montana to play with. I've never seen a 84M 270WSM. Maybe that's why it's a defect...

Great thread! Question on the 6.5 130 grain hybrids. Are those suitable for deer hunting?

Check out Manners stocks. They have a chassis system that appears to be better than the B&C or HS aluminum bedding block.

Tbrice, Don't worry, our farm keeps our shots around 350 yards max. I'm just amazed that guys think the .243 is too small for an Indiana whitetail.
