I just caved and bought a browning a-bolt hunter 7mm-08 for my girl friend (apparently has more stopping power than .243). While i was at the store looking at the rifle everything looked fine but when i got it home and was about to adjust the scope i noticed that the bbl was touching the stock...

I don't say much on these boards at all but the bashing of old bears shot actually annoys me... he made a great shot and sounds like he had a great experience during the hunt... One point that i have to make is that the animal is dead (no longer breathing), where he meant to place the bullet...
