I'm from Galva I don't hunt to much but I am starting to shoot practical long range precision matches

400 yards for me now as that is the longest range I have right out the back door

Im wanting to use varmint contour barrel which cartridge would you all choose the standard 7Rem Mag or the 7mmSTW? Give me your reasons for your choice and the barrel life for each .
