Vortex fluting - SA Remington

I just fluted my bolt in a different style. Looks like a Vortex. What do you think?

Nice job. I can't quite figure out though how this is different from the spiral fluting others are doin on bolts and even some barrels.

I think you're right. Either flat or concave. I knew it was different and I liked it but couldn't put my finger quite on it HA! gun)

That is pretty sexy right there, I like the flats. I have a handful of spiral fluted bolts & am running my first spiral fluted barrel.

I would imagine the flat flutes would be a little easier on the brass than the spiral flutes (they can be a little on the sharp side)....
