2012 Long Range Shoots in Townsend Montana

It's time again!! I will be starting our 3rd year of the long range shoots with the Broad Water Rod and Gun Club in Townsend Mt. These are at the Indian Creek range west of hiway 287 just north of the river up Indian creek.

Sure do, We will be shooting the second Saturday of each month starting in April and the last for this season will be August.

Love to see you make one Len. I plan to have some life sized game targets as soon as we get the steel for the kill zones.

Yo Broz!

I'm gettin ready. Been busier that I otta be getting shooting stuff ready.

Disassembled the 270 AM in prep for rebarrel. Goes to Grit this week end.

Pony'd up for a Harris for the 375. I now remember why I don't like them. Spent two days remodeling one of my own designs. A machinist I'm not. But hey, ya can treat Aluminum as if it were wood. Much better to work.

Son, in Seattle, and wife just had GK #17. May not make it to the first shot. But am good for some of the others.

We're loading up all ready, I think it'll be dad and I for sure, maybe little girl as well. We'll have at least one black powder 40-65 and I might grab a Sharps 45-70 or 45-90, along with everything else we can stuff into the truck

BnG, glad you guys are coming. I was up at the range today helping with a class of hunter ed students. It was a blast with the kids and the steel chickens. If you bring Anne we will set her up with some.

No Sir, just show up with what you need to shoot. Hearing protection is needed and eye protection is a good idea. Other than that it is free and we just have a good time. Hope you make it.
