Your latest hunt pics...poast pls.

This a my whitetail shot in Nebraska on Nov. 12, 2011. I used my Rem 700 CDL in 280 Rem. loaded with 140 Nosler Accubond. The shot was only 100 yards and was a quartering away shot. The Accubond did a great job. The bullet entered low on the right ribs and traveled through the deer and out the left sholder, thus he only traveled about 40-50 yards.

Here is my 9 point I shot on 12.08.2011! Shot him with my 300 RUM - 225 yds! I want to say he has a 16" outside spread! I shot this deer in PA! I was going to mount him, however, I have bigger on the wall! I made a promise I wouldn't mount another unless it was bigger or just unique!

I just got my 2011 PA Whitetail Skull back tonight! Thought I would share! Ill post the pictures of my Wyoming buck when i get it back!

What's that Guy score? Cool looking buck

Hey Mike,

I dont think he would score very high, maybe 100-120. I never scored it.

This is my biggest buck to date. This 8 point came in at 136" Both deer were shot on the same farm! I actually shot five 8 points and two 9's off this farm.

whay do you guys use rifles like 300RUM 338LM and so on. for normal deer at shortish ranges like 300-400-500 yards? you dont need to use that much gun powder. l always try and put a hole in the animal-but it looks like you dudes are trying to drill a hole in the mountanin aswell as the animal. and go to the pub and talk about it '' l shot a deer today from 350 yards and my bullet whent 2 meters in to the side of the mountain after exiting the deer. and the other guy sais- ohh whell thats nothing l shot a deer from 200 yards the bullet first whent through 5 pine trees then killing the animal and l found the bullet 10 feet inside the mountain. you wanna advice. use 30-06 308 7mm-08 and so on and for extender ranges for deer go with a 7mm rem mag or a 300 wm. you dont need bigger rounds. remember you shoot beter with less recoıl.:)
Yah mean like this, first shot 800 yrdgun)All 338 norma

What rifle and caliber you using there?

All 3 animals were taken with a winchest model 70, .300 ultra mag, 165 grain sirocco II.

Top deer: 450 yards dropped him.

Elk: 565 yards, quartering slightly away. Hit him once (broke offside shoulder), he turned and slightly quartered the other way- hit him again (broke the other offside shoulder) and he was done.

Bottom deer: 517 yards, dropped him.

remember you shoot beter with less recoıl.:)

That is really just an urban legend geared toward women, children and the faint of heart. But if it makes you feel better about yourself...

And to not make you feel better about yourself, my son shot his first deer when he was 9 with a 7mm Mag, and my daughter her first two deer (9 and 11) with the same rifle. By their choice not mine. They even shoot my .338, and probably better then most grown men.
