What is wrong with pictures in the LR Hunting and Shooting forum? Hardly anything else of worth is posted in here anymore, it's nice to see some pics of rifles/animals rather than debating whether or not to brake a 28 pound 223 Rem or if a 140 Berger will kill a whitetail at 1800 yards if it's got x amount of velocity and x amount of energy... Give me a break. These threads rock.

Thanks Tannergun. I was so excited when I drew that tag I went out scouting the next weekend. There had to be 6' of snow up there, but I went anyway... on snowshoes. I made 13 scouting trips that summer. After 10 years of applying there was no way I was going to let that tag go unfilled. I got that goat the first day, then spent 3 days getting him, and my camp, packed out. I got him in unit G11, above Marble.
Hopefully this year I'll draw my sheep tag. This will be year 13, my lucky number!

SPORT HUNTERS always amaze me. they want to be a real sniper but can't so they go out and shoot animals instead of paper.

You prob hunt from the road since you have no skills to stalk wild game. big guns for little boys.

Just trying to wrap my head around this...
Are you on a long range hunting site with the name longrangehuntr talking trash to guys that hunt at long range with the appopriate equipment?
