What caliber have you killed the most deer with and which caliber is your favorite. Mine is 308. Killed more deer with it than probably all the other combined. But it helps my gun for it is perfect for it Short, light, easy to walk in the woods with, easy to carry, and great treestand gun.

My old man has always used his 270. win and its always done the job!
personally i like the 243. win for with in 300 yards and the 7mm rem mag for outside of that

First deer i killed i shot it with a 243 drt. Playing with a 270 win right now and its starting to come along .53 and i have started reloading for it yet. Plan on tuning trigger more to my liking with a sring and set screw for overtravel. Hope I can shave a little off the factory ammo group between reloading and tuning the trigger

A 270WSM is my favorite go to rifle for deer. A 130g bullet at 3300fps. makes the range really shrink.

I really like shooting my 50 cal. muzzleloader and 45/70 too though. I kill about the same number of deer a year with the muzzleloader and 45/70 as the 270WSM.

I have killed hundreds, lost count a long time ago, of WT deer with about everything from 22lr through 45-70. My favorite caliber has to be the 25-06 Remington. It just kills WAY BEYOND what you would think it is capable of. 99% of the time BANG FLOP. Favorite bullet is Sierra 117 Pro Hunter. Second place has to go to 308 Win and the 125 gr Nosler ballistic tip. I also have a soft spot in my heart for anything in .264 especially 6.5X55 and 264 Win Mag. And then there is, Oh forget it, I could go on for hours. :D
